“Fox Sports en Espanol announced today it has acquired the exclusive Spanish-language television rights for “Boxeo de Campeones,” a new weekly boxing series. Featuring live boxing and Spanish-language commentary by Manuel Medina, the first exclusive telecast will air live tonight at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.
“The acquisition of `Boxeo de Campeones’ is the perfect complement to Fox Sports en Espanol’s year-round coverage of boxing,” said David Sternberg, executive vice president and general manager of Fox Sports en Espanol. “We are delighted to be the exclusive Spanish-language carrier for this exciting series and look forward to continuing to offer Latino sports fans more hours of live sports programming each year than any other network.”…”
