“The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) celebrated the fifth annual Hispanic Legislative Day at the Georgia State Capitol today. Events included the annual Hispanic Caucus breakfast, followed by Governor Sonny Perdue’s proclamation presentation on the north steps of the Georgia State Capitol rotunda declaring February 2nd as Hispanic Day in Georgia.

“We recognize and applaud the extraordinary contributions of Hispanic Georgians to the culture, community, and economy of our state,” said Governor Sonny Perdue. “In Atlanta, nine of the top 25 minority businesses are Hispanic owned, and Hispanic buying power in Georgia is growing quickly. I’m proud to proclaim today Hispanic Day in Georgia.”…”
