“Even as the overall number of identify theft victims declined last year, Hispanics are the hardest-hit ethnic group.

Proportionally, more Hispanics fall victim to this crime, in which a person’s information is stolen and used to commit fraud. And identity thieves ring up higher fraud bills for Hispanics than for Asians, blacks or Caucasians….”
