“LATINA Style Magazine announces its eighth annual LATINA Style 50 Awards, ranking the 50 best companies for Latinas to work for, and the third annual Best Practices in Diversity Conference set for Thursday, February 9, 2006, at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel in Washington D.C. The prestigious LATINA Style 50 Company of the Year recognition will be awarded to Bank of America. The Honorable Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor will be the keynote speaker and Alvaro G. De Molina, Chief Financial Officer, Bank of America will be a featured speaker.
The day-long Best Practices in Diversity program will explore the challenges Latinas encounter in corporate America. The most successful programs from the LATINA Style 50 companies will be profiled. Experts from the 50 best companies will discuss: strategic approaches to mapping your career path to the top; recruitment, retention, promotion programs; and the challenges and opportunities of changing demographics. …”
