Tagged: population“This month, Sotelo stood before a breakfast crowd at the same Washington Athletic Club to usher in a new era for the growing Hispanic community in Washington – a new era that will include the state’s first Hispanic-owned bank and four or five village-style retail, business and cultural developments catering primarily to Hispanic customers.
Sotelo and his business partners have aimed the first “La Plaza” development at South King County – most likely in Auburn, which has a concentrated Hispanic population. He also has had multiple encouraging talks with Tacoma officials about development possibilities on the East Side….”
