“511 Rideshare, the telephone and Internet service that places Bay Area commuters in carpools, is now available in Spanish, program coordinators announced Wednesday.
The free service matching commuters with rides in their areas is reaching out to Spanish-speakers as one of the largest and fastest-growing populations in the Bay Area, and one with a high usage of public transportation. This is the first of several languages other than English to be added to the service in coming months….”
