The local American Legion Post has denied it discriminated against a Hispanic couple who wanted to rent the legion’s hall for their wedding reception. North Carolina

“The denial by Chapel Hill Post 6 comes in response to a lawsuit charging discrimination that was filed last September. In that lawsuit, Crystal Martinez-Ramos and David Martinez-Ramos filed a civil complaint against the legion and its commander, Alvin Hackney, saying that Hackney cancelled a contract to rent the hall to them just four days before their reception….”
