Hispanics march to protect education in Georgia
“A group of Hispanics will march downtown Saturday for the same reason blacks marched through Southern cities forty years ago ”” to bring civil rights to the forefront of the public mind.
Organizers are calling the event “Sonemos Juntos,” or “dream together,” and said the primary purpose is to inform people about proposed legislation that could deny illegal immigrants public education….”
