“The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the fundamental human right to reproductive health for Latinas, their families, and their communities through public education, policy advocacy, and community mobilization. NLIRH is currently searching for an individual interested in applying to the New Voices Fellowship Program. The Fellow would be working at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health as a New Voices Fellow beginning in Fall 2006.
If selected, the Fellow would have the unique opportunity to work at the only national organization dedicated to promoting the reproductive health and rights of Latinas. Our policy program focuses on reproductive health in a broad context, which includes health care access in general and immigration. The Fellow would have the opportunity to represent NLIRH on a range of social policy matters and to take a leadership role in developing NLIRH’s policy program. The Fellow will also have the opportunity to develop creative approaches to our policy work and participate in grassroots activism….”
