“Al Lopez was shocked when he heard that most of the 940 drivers arrested for driving while intoxicated in Springdale in 2004 were Hispanic males.
“The first thing I did was go on the radio and say, “Look at what they’re saying about us. This is incredible,’ ” said Lopez, known to the community as Papa Rap, host of a Spanish-language radio show on Springdale station KREB-FM, and a student relations coordinator at Springdale High School….”
