“Is Univision for sale? Given the latest turn of events, most pundits think that’s a logical assumption. The first hint was the surprise announcement in its November third-quarter report that it would lay off almost 6% of its staff (an estimated 275 people), primarily in its core television business.
Also, Univision reportedly has issued an order to stop the purchase of new equipment. And at 74, chairman-CEO A. Jerrold Perenchio is no spring chicken, either….”
