Orange County, Florida Launches Spanish-Language Version of Its Award-Winning Website; Leading County in Digital Government Furthers Ongoing Commitment To Serve Hispanics

“In an innovative step to meet the growing needs of its Hispanic population, the government of Orange County, Florida, announced today the launch of a complete Spanish-language version of its award-winning website. The first such site among Florida’s largest counties, this version of the website can be accessed by clicking on the “Disponible En Espanol” (”Available in Spanish”) tab on the County’s homepage, www.OrangeCountyFL.net.

Orange County is nationally recognized as a leader in providing online governmental resources, and its website has received several prestigious awards, including a 2004 “Best of the Web” award from the Center for Digital Government. The site offers current and continuously updated information on government operations, public safety issues, printable forms and access to several online services. With the current launch, the entire Orange County website is now fully accessible to its Spanish-speaking residents and visitors….”
