“When Healy Media Inc. settled a trademark lawsuit back in October, it agreed to change the name of its Spanish-language daily newspaper in San Diego, Calif., by the end of the year.
Monday, Diario Latino hit the streets as Diario San Diego.
The paper’s editor and president, José Santiago Healy, said the name had been chosen by readers in the “Add Salsa to the Diario” contest the paper ran in recent weeks. Readers could choose from among three names favored by focus groups last fall: Diario Contigo, Diario Noticias, and Diario San Diego….”
