Knowledge is Power!
“This is an important film that everyone should see. Whether you are pro-war or against it, pro-guns or not, Democrat or Republican, male, female, child, religious or atheistic, it’s a film that will leave a mark in you. It raises questions. It begins discussions. It motivates you to reflect on your viewpoints and political stances. If life is sacred for some then why supply weapons to those that destroy it? Is the fear of the “Other” so great that you will do a veiled-invasion of another country? There is no doubt in my mind that the film with touch a nerve with everyone who WILL be affected by the images they will see on the screen. I know for myself, the slow-motion sequence where soldiers execute important characters of the film is shocking and heart-wrenching. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I remember thinking: “Oh, no. They’re not going to show what I think they’re going to show.”…”
