“Gustavo Cisneros, chairman and CEO of Cisneros Group of Cos., said Tuesday that the U.S. Hispanic market is “no longer a niche market,” and that his company will increase investments in the sector in the next couple of years.
“Fifty million people is not a niche [market] anymore; it’s an entire economy,” Cisneros told a group of students and professors gathered at New York University’s Silver Center for Arts and Sciences. The Latin American business mogul spoke as part of NYU’s “Voices of Latin American Leaders.” Jorge Castañeda, an NYU professor and former foreign minister of Mexico, moderated the discussion….”
