“Bolivia, Paraguay and Peru are losing citizens to richer and more politically stable countries such as Argentina, Brazil and Chile, according to research presented last month by Domingo Martínez Castilla, coordinator of MU’s Cambio Center.
According to Martínez’s research, collected while traveling through the region and from international migration organizations, immigrants flock to large urban areas, specifically Buenos Aires, Sí£o Paolo and Santiago. There they find work mostly in agriculture, manufacturing and the service industry….”
