The 6-2, 300-pounder is proud of his heritage and was among a small group of Hispanic players and coaches who in 2002 participated in Cinco de Mayo festivities with President George Bush at the White House.
Garza often returns to Rio Hondo with his wife Ashley to visit relatives and friends. His parents still live on Roberto Garza Drive and several other family members reside nearby….”
