Latinos now have ‘one-stop shopping’. North Carolina
“Although the organizers say it happened almost by accident, Carrboro’s Hispanic and immigrant community now has “one-stop shopping” for many public services.
Kristin Lavergne, the program director for the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service, said Wednesday that since her organization moved into the building at 110 W. Main St. several years ago, the IFC had hoped the location could become a hub for nonprofit services.”
