“Latino state lawmakers will bring together elected officials and the directors of about a dozen state agencies Thursday in Rosemont to formulate a legislative agenda that serves a booming and changing population.

While nearly all members of the Legislative Latino Caucus represent districts in Chicago, the group’s third annual conference is designed to address Hispanic growth in the suburbs and the rest of Illinois, organizers said.”
