“Bella Donna Films will screen two short films by Iris Almaraz in New York at the Nolita Film Festival on Sunday Dec. 4th. www.nolitafilmfestival.com. “La Puta” is the four time award winning short that will be preceded by the film “Someter” which just recently screened at festivals in Brazil and Toronto. Ms. Almaraz is a co-founder of Bella Donna Films along with Rina Fernandez and Corina Mora who both produce and act in their films. Their production company is a little over a year in business and in this past year alone they have shown their films at just under a hundred festivals around the globe. Iris Almaraz will attend the New York premier of these two amazing films and has just recently received the Firme Award for the best short film at the Sin Fin Film Festival. “
