Annual Education Technology Conference Addressed by United States Treasurer, Governor of Puerto Rico and Spanish Minister of Education and Science

“The ASPIRA National Association, ASPIRA de Puerto Rico, and the Council for Opportunity in Education are proud to announce the 5th Annual Technology Tools for Management and Instruction Conference, December 4–7, 2005, at the El San Juan Hotel. This year, we are especially pleased and honored to announce that that the Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Honorable Aní­bal Acevedo Vilá, will deliver welcoming remarks at the Conference. In addition, the Minister of Education and Science of Spain, Honorable Maria Jesus San Segundo and the Treasurer of the United States, Hon. Anna Escobedo Cabral will deliver a keynote messages at the conference.

More than 800 collegiate and pre-collegiate TRIO professionals, Gear-Up professionals, school administrators, university personnel, K-12 teachers, and corporate and foundation representatives from the United States, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Latin America, will gather to discuss how technology can be used to better serve the needs of low-income and ethnically diverse students. “
