Tagged: AT&T, girl scouts, student“Diaz Dennis, 59, a senior vice president and assistant general counsel for AT&T, defines the word pioneer. She was a law student during an era when women were just beginning to trickle into law schools. She was the first woman and the first Hispanic at a Los Angeles law firm that hired her out of law school in the early ’70s.
And now Diaz Dennis has scored another first: Last October, she was elected the first Latina to serve as national board chairwoman of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, making her the leader of a group with more than 3.8 million members.”
