Creciendo Unidos: Group examines realities of gangs on North Shore of Lake Tahoe

“Negative and false pride versus cultural and self pride. These are personal qualities that guide a way of life, and qualities identified by Growing Together participants as reasons for joining, or not joining a gang.

The parents, youths and concerned locals of the grassroots community development group, Growing Together, met again Monday night in Kings Beach and this time to gain awareness of the reality of gang influence on the North Shore.”
