Tu Ciudad Magazine Debuts Holiday Issue

“Tu Ciudad Magazine (Emmis Communications), a regional English-language bimonthly about Latino lifestyle and culture in Southern California, launches its holiday issue this week. A local media campaign begins Nov. 23 to promote the fourth edition, which includes a complete guide to festive foods and treats, Latino-centric gift ideas and joyful activities for the holiday season into the New Year.

The promotional campaign debuts a new tag line: Your Guide to Latino L.A. - English Spoken Here. “Our new tag line speaks directly to the nearly 4 million English-speaking Latinos in Los Angeles. Ciudad was created just for them,” says Jaime Gamboa, founder and publisher of Tu Ciudad Magazine. Print, radio, weekly newsletter teasers and a bus ad campaign will run in Los Angeles and Orange counties to promote the holiday issue featuring Vanessa Marcil of NBC’s “Las Vegas,” who shares family holiday memories and traditions centered on cooking tamales.”
