MLA’s Aguilar Named ‘Lawyer of the Year’ by Hispanic National Bar Association

“he Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) has named McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP’s Luis A. Aguilar its Lawyer of the Year for 2005.

Mr. Aguilar was selected by a special review committee that considered numerous candidates.

“After a highly competitive process, Luis emerged as a terrific choice by the executive committee of the HNBA. He is one of the most highly regarded corporate attorneys in the country. He has a unique ability to very skillfully connect corporate law and business development with issues that are critical to the progress of Hispanic Americans,” said Alan Varela, President of the HNBA. “We are very pleased to select him as HNBA’s 2005 Lawyer of the Year.”"
