“Miguel Guillen didn’t want to create a traditional art exhibit celebrating Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead. The concept seemed trite, maybe even a little corny to him.
Day of the Dead, which stretches from Halloween evening to Nov. 2, is a Latino holiday that honors the dead, usually family members.”
