People in rural villages sometimes have trouble relating to those who return from the United States

“In this small village in central Oaxaca, the young men leave — hundreds at a time — to work in Oregon each year. Some people think that even when the men return, they never really come back.

“The culture is being lost,” said the Rev. Eugenio Aristeo de Vega Cacho, the village pastor. “Their habits, their haircuts, their manner of speaking is all different.”"
