“The University of Georgia is one of two schools nationwide that will serve as test cases in a new initiative aimed at getting more Hispanic students to go to college.

The U.S. Department of Education is expected to announce the project Wednesday at the 30th anniversary of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund luncheon. The fund, along with UGA and the University of Texas at Austin, will study the needs of Hispanic students to design programs that will get more of them into higher education.”
