“Broadcasting from a strip mall in Gloucester County, the fledgling radio station reflects the changing rhythms of the area’s Latino population, once dominated by Puerto Ricans.

It is the first and only station in the Philadelphia region devoted almost exclusively to Mexican music. With its launch three years ago, La Mexicanisima introduced the inflections of rural Mexico to airwaves that already are diverse.”
