“Dozens of wheeled taco stands, barbecue trucks and other mobile food vendors would have to fold up the awnings under a proposed new Metro law intended to combat rats, water problems and other health issues.

The small, trailerlike restaurants prevalent in commercial areas along busy pikes ”” usually parked in strip-mall or gas station parking lots ”” would be banned in Nashville under a proposal that comes before the Metro Council tonight on first vote.”
