“The Missouri Governor’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs has been given a new name and a revised economics-driven mission, and it will be recruiting new members ”” all to the surprise of former Hispanic Affairs Commission commissioners.
An Oct. 25 letter from Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Greg Steinhoff informed the 15 former commissioners of Gov. Matt Blunt’s executive order to discontinue the Hispanic Affairs Commission and replace it with the Hispanic Business, Trade and Culture Commission.”
