Ferrer Beats Bloomberg Among Blacks, Latinos

“Democrat Fernando Ferrer may have lost the race for City Hall but he did beat Mayor Bloomberg among blacks and latino voters. WNYC’s Cindy Rodriguez reports.

REPORTER: A Pace poll co-sponsored by WNYC shows Ferrer won the latino vote by a 29 point margin. He also won 53 percent of the black vote, compared to Bloomberg’s 46 percent. Though Bloomberg fell short among blacks, he about doubled his numbers since he ran in 2001.”
