Knowledge is Power!
“Since most of her students are native Spanish speakers, the bilingual teacher at the Perry L. Drew Elementary School has grown accustomed to speaking in Spanish and switching to English to help her students become proficient in both languages.
Since 1996, the Hispanic student population in the East Windsor Regional school district has grown tenfold to 1,200, putting the schools second to Trenton in Mercer County in the number of Spanish-speaking students they serve.”
