“Univision predicted it would pull off a ratings winner among Hispanics, and during last night’s 6th annual Latin Grammy Awards, it accomplished just that.

The live telecast from Los Angeles posted a 25.6 rating, according to Nielsen Hispanic Television Index, compared to the 5.0 rating logged among Latinos last year when the Grammys aired on CBS, a 9.5 rating in 2003, and 9.0 in 2002. The awards show telecast was cancelled in 2001, but the previous year, the Grammys had earned an 18.2 rating. “
