‘Soledad Is Gone’ Delivers Strong Latino Cast

“Haiku Films completed principal casting for the production company’s first narrative short “Soledad Is Gone Forever.” Carla Ohana Sánchez of Los Angeles joins the all-Latino cast as Soledad Gonzalez. Bay Area actors Carlos Baron, Gigi Guizado, Michael Torres and Araceli Marie Gonzalez, as the 8-year-old Soledad, round-out an exceptional cast. Haiku Films principal Mabel Valdiviezo wrote the powerful screenplay and will direct. Bay Area filmmaker Julie Rubio is producing. Principal production begins December 8 in San Francisco.”
