I received an e-mail informing me of a Google ad for an anti-immigration group based in California on this site. I have debated this for some time, yes even before this, and have come to the conclusion to eliminate Google ads from this site. I am mainly doing this, not for political reasons, but to maintain control of what appears on my site. I really try to be unbiased, but we all have our opinions. While Google ads does allow me to filter competitors out by URL, I truthfully don’t want to spend my time doing this.
As you can see there are now ads to my other blogs to the right where Google ads used to be. I am definitely considering other possibilities.
