“Overcast skies and a $5 increase in admission price didn’t keep the crowds from flocking to downtown Orlando for Festival Calle Orange, an annual celebration of Hispanic culture.

Thousands gathered Sunday on Orange Avenue and its side streets for the seventh annual festival. They sampled alcapurrias (stuffed fried dough) and arepas (cornmeal cakes), while listening to salsa and merengue. El Gran Combo, a Puerto Rican salsa institution, was among the 40 acts scheduled to perform on four stages.”
