San Jose Community College Receives $3.5 Million Federal Grant
Tagged: graduation rate, San Jose, student“San Jose’s Evergreen Valley College has been awarded a five-year $3.5 million federal grant to assist Hispanic students with successfully completing their education.
The community college will use the U.S. Department of Education funds to help Hispanic students in critical classes, increase the number of successful transfers to San Jose State University and improve the graduation rates of transfer students, according to college officials. “
