Newcomer Center at Alamo helps Spanish-speaking students’ transition

“Being new to the United States and not knowing English is a tough transition for anyone, including many young students who, in addition to learning the language, must learn every other school subject at the same time.

The Newcomer Center at Alamo Elementary, in its first year, helps fourth- through sixth-graders with that transition.”

Please note some (many) sites require registration. Many times it is free.
