“General Motors’ Chevrolet brand and Heineken both have signed on as sponsors of Soulfrito, the Latin urban music festival scheduled for this Sunday at Miami’s Bayfront Park. Also along as local sponsors are Clear Channel Communications and its local radio station, WMGE-FM Mega 94.9.
The audience apparently is there. Hispanics age 16 to 34 top 16 million, said Giles, the event’s promoter and founder of Soulfrito Entertainment. Moreover, some 65 percent of the Hispanic market’s overall growth is coming from bicultural, urban, U.S.-born citizens, she said.”
