Latino Legends is ill-conceived

“On Wednesday, just before Game 4 of the World Series, Major League Baseball will announce the results of fan voting for the first Latino Legends Team. Presumably balloting will begin soon on baseball’s first-ever Jewish Legends Team, the Asian Legends Team and the prestigious Canadian Legends Team.

Pardon my cynicism, but for a sport that spent the first half of its existence excluding an entire race of people based on skin color, promoting the idea of an All-Star team limited by national origin seems like a bad idea.”
