TV show in Spanish reflects growing trend. Florida

The growth in such programming parallels the rise in the Hispanic population in the Midlands, which more than doubled to 14,642 from 1990 to 2000, according to the Central Midlands Council of Governments. The population is projected to surpass 21,000 by 2009.”
