“Rafael Tufino, one of Puerto Rico’s best-known painters, has filed suit against a New York museum and his daughter — a New Jersey resident — seeking the return of art works exhibited two years ago, his lawyer said Friday.

A pivotal figure in modern Puerto Rican art, the 83-year-old artist, who was a member of the so-called Generation of the Fifties, depicted the daily life of Puerto Ricans.”
