Gibson Gives $1M for Mexican Storm Relief

“Mel Gibson, sporting a long beard and no socks, met with Mexican President Vicente Fox and donated $1 million to help Mexico recover from Hurricane Stan.

Fox’s office said Wednesday that Gibson had asked to meet with Fox because he wanted to help after the hurricane hit the Gulf state of Veracruz, where he is filming the movie “Apocalypto.”"
