Yesterday, I received an e-mail from Nacho Hernandez of the iHispanic Marketing Group informing me of an upcoming event that may be of interest to readers of HispanicTips entitled Selling Consumer Products to Hispanics in the U.S. on Thursday and Friday, November 3-4, 2005 in California
Here is the agenda in English y en Español
"I bring to your attention a Business Roundtable on Selling Consumer Products to Hispanics in the U.S. in which we would like very much to have you attend. Here is a link, but I would like to tell you more about it in a personal way in this email:
http://www.iamericas.org/events/training/selling-products-hispanics.html
As you will see on the attached agenda, we have been able to confirm a very strong group of speakers, all contributing with a very practical approach to doing business in the U.S. and very knowledgeable about the Hispanic market.
I have been helping the Institute of the Americas for free for this non-profit event in the organization of this unique and timely roundtable, scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 3-4, 2005.
The roundtable will be held at Institute headquarters on the UCSD campus. The Institute - of which I am a member - is a not-for-profit autonomous organization that promotes economic integration and development in the western hemisphere (you may learn more about the Institute at www.iamericas.org).
This event will provide an intimate forum for entrepreneurs from Latin America to come and learn how to enter the U.S. market, as well as a forum for those in the U.S. who seek to increase sales to the Hispanic market. This means that for Latin American companies the meeting will be an eye-opener as to what to expect and how to do business here. For North American businesses, the main focus of the roundtable is a definition and behavioral understanding of the Hispanic market and, therefore, how to increase sales aimed at this fast growing segment of the marketplace. Please see the attached draft agenda for an indication of the topics that the program will cover.
I believe you would also enjoy the opportunity to exchange your thoughts and ideas about the Hispanic opportunity with our other renowned participants, such as Sergio Zyman which grew Coca Cola to the empire it is now."
Thanks Nacho for the information and conversation. It makes me feel good to know that people like Nacho are reading HispanicTips.com
It sounds like a wonderful and constructive event
