“Despite the hot, sticky and sometimes wet weather, more than 30,000 people turned out for the fifth annual Puerto Rican Fiestas Patronales and Business Expo.

Visitors from throughout South Florida, the country and as far away as Puerto Rico, recently came together for the four-day event at the Pembroke Pines Recreation Center grounds. They had a chance to enjoy live Latin music and browse through 100 vendor booths displaying souvenirs, foods, candy and cookies. There also were activities for children, such as slides and carnival rides.”
