“Over 300 students, professionals, and members of the community attended the Chicano-Latino Leadership and Unity Conference held at UH-Clear Lake on Saturday. Attendees were provided a full day of empowerment, cultura, and unity from community leaders in the form of speeches, seminars, entertainment, and networking opportunities. Students attended from all areas of Houston–Segundo Barrio, the Heights, Northside, Cy-Fair, Tomball, Kingwood, Gulfton, and other areas.”
