“The sisters joined a line of more than 100 people at 8 a.m. Saturday outside the Centro de Familia, behind Billie Martinez Elementary School on 14th Avenue in Greeley. The line of Mexican citizens began to form before 6 a.m. They were all waiting for the General Mexican Consulate in Denver to arrive at 9 a.m. The consulate was handing out Mexican ID cards, a Matricla consular.”
