“The Dominican Republic’s government has awarded a US$120mn contract to Spanish company Generación Eólica Internacional to develop a 100MW wind project, the CIG government news service reported.

Generación Eólica Internacional president Ernesto Olí­ver Gómez and the Dominican Republic’s national energy commission executive director Rubén Montás signed the concession contract, the statement said.”
