La Raza calls for unified effort at local, national level
Tagged: brownsville, Janet Murguia, La Raza, NCLR“Flexing the muscle of a national advocacy organization to bring attention to local issues and resources was the purpose of the National Council of La Raza’s affiliate network reception Thursday night at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel.
“If we are going to move our community forward, we need to merge what you all are offering at the local level with what we’re doing at the national level,” said NCLR’s president Janet Murguia at the reception.”
